Built for working stays, not weekend breaks
Most short-let platforms are designed around leisure. The prices reflect it, and so does the type of property — stylish sofas, no worktop space, nowhere to dry your kit. JTAP properties are set up differently.
Our guests typically stay for two weeks to several months. That means we prioritise the things that actually matter for a working stay:

Whether you’re placing one person or a team of six, we can usually accommodate. Our properties range from compact one and two-bedroom apartments up to larger houses suited to trade teams working on the same project.

Our properties are based in and around Cambridge, with good access to the main employment zones across the city and county. Cambridge is compact by city standards, which means most locations put you within 15 to 20 minutes of the major sites.

Some of our properties include off-road or allocated parking, which is a significant advantage in Cambridge where city-centre parking is restricted. If parking is a priority, mention it when you enquire and we’ll match you to the right property.

What is the minimum stay for contractor accommodation in Cambridge?
Our minimum stay is typically one week. Most of our contractor guests book for two to eight weeks, with many extending their stay once the project runs on. Monthly rates are available and represent a better value for stays of four weeks or more.
Do you offer weekly rates for contractors?
Yes. We price on a weekly basis for stays of two weeks or more, which aligns with most contractor pay schedules. For stays of a month or longer, we can offer a reduced monthly rate. Get in touch with your expected duration and we’ll quote accordingly.
Is parking included?
Parking is available at most of our properties, including off-road parking and space for vans at selected houses. It’s one of the most common requirements we hear from contractors, so if it’s important to you, flag it when you enquire and we’ll prioritise properties that can accommodate your vehicles.
Can you accommodate a team of contractors?
Yes. We have properties ranging from two-bed apartments to larger houses sleeping six or more. For teams working on the same project, sharing a single property is usually significantly cheaper per person than individual hotel rooms, and far more practical. Tell us your team size, and we’ll find the right fit.
What’s included in the rate?
All bills are included: heating, hot water, electricity, and Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels are provided and changed at intervals. There are no surprise add-ons. The rate you’re quoted is what you pay.
Can I extend my stay if the project runs over?
In most cases, yes. We ask that you give us as much notice as possible, ideally one to two weeks, so we can hold the property and avoid rebooking it. Extensions are common, and we always try to accommodate them.
Do you deal with companies placing contractors, or only individuals?
Both. We work with individual contractors booking for themselves and with companies placing workers on Cambridge projects. We can issue invoices to a company address and provide accommodation references where required. Get in touch to discuss your requirements.
